Pollens & Air app (dev.androne.pollen) — effective 5 August 2026.

This app has no server. There is no account, no profile, and no database that could hold your name, your email address or your history — because none of them is ever asked for.

What follows describes exactly the four moments when data leaves your phone, and who receives it.
1. Your location, if you ask for it
Location is never requested on its own. It happens only when you tap the locate button, and the app asks for permission at that moment — never at launch.
When you do, the app obtains an approximate position
(ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION; precise location is neither requested nor
declared), then sends those coordinates to the Base Adresse Nationale,
a French government service, to turn them into the name of a commune.

Nationale, operated by the DINUM. No key, no identifier and no cookie is sent:
the request carries two numbers and nothing else.
What we keep: nothing, on any server, because there is none. Only the resulting commune name is stored on your phone, so you don't have to do it again.
The app works fully without ever granting this permission: searching for a commune by name gives exactly the same result.
2. The chosen commune, to fetch the forecast
To show a forecast, the app requests the public data attached to a commune code. That code identifies a territory, not a person, and it is the same one for every inhabitant of that commune.

All three are French public services. Like any web server, they necessarily receive your IP address; their own terms then apply.
3. Advertising
The app shows one advertisement at most per launch, and never before the forecast is on screen. It is served by Google AdMob, which is the data controller for whatever it collects.
AdMob may collect your Android advertising ID, your IP address and technical information about the device, in order to select and measure ads.
You can delete that identifier at any time under Settings → Security & privacy → Privacy → Ads on your phone. It is an Android setting, it applies to every app, and this one has no way around it.

4. Nothing else
There is no audience measurement, no analytics, and no automatic crash reporting, and no third-party kit beyond Google AdMob as described above.
What never leaves your phone
- The communes you saved and the one currently selected
- Your preferences: light or dark theme, language
- Your alert settings: which pollens you watch and at which threshold
- The last forecast received, kept so the app answers without a network
All of it is stored in the app's private area on Android and is removed entirely when you uninstall. You can also clear it at any time under Settings → Apps → Pollens & Air → Storage → Clear data.
Alert notifications
They are produced entirely on your phone. There are no push notifications, therefore no device token, and no server knows that you turned alerts on or which pollens you chose.

Your rights
The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection. In this case:
- For the app's own data, you exercise them directly on your phone — there is nothing to ask us for, because we hold nothing.
- For advertising data, you exercise them with Google, which is the controller.
You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Children
The app is not directed at children and asks them for nothing. No data is knowingly collected from a child under thirteen.
